I have had HIC for about 2 weeks now. If you are a weak piece of shit like me, get it. If you are not, get SCS. It stays dialed for months and rarely comes loose. The only problem I had with SCS was the bolt snapping which wasn't that bad.

HIC comes loose on me in about 4 hours of riding. So yeah...

scs isnt easy to get dialed IMO. Only problem iu= had with HIC is that i had to sand the shim and top cap cuz the bars wouldnt fit.

You don't need to "break in" HIC lol. You just need to actually tighten the compression bolt enough (it shouldn't spin freely without the bars on) and be careful when putting your bars back on that you don't twist them much because your compression cap will grab the inside of your bars and twist the compression bolt loose...

I prefer HIC over other compression systems because it's simple. There isn't a process like for ICS or SCS, you loosen up your clamp and pull your bars off and that's it. There isn't a bunch of shit that can go wrong like there is with SCS, and you don't need to take half your scooter apart just to get to it like ICS. I never had any problems with my SCS though, honestly, it was just a pain in the ass.

Sorry for bumping a old thread, but i was thinking if you got the starnut in the bars, gould you weld it in so the star nut doest move and shit?

The starnut won't move, If your worrying about your ics coming loose just put two starnuts in your bars.

HIC!, ics should not be trusted. its real sketchy. for the starnut in your bars not move, you will have to apply glue or whatever for it not to move. HIC is simple and the most affective compression out in the market

HIC forsure. And after that SCS.
Even though ive never ridden a "dialed" ICS setup, i still like my HIC better when i had it.
