hic/threaded forks

is it possible to use hic with threaded forks because u put a shim over ur forks anyways

Yeah, absoluted no point, unless you can fit your lock nut inside your bars

well i have brand new threaded forks and my headset is broken and i want compression and new bars

I'm doin that right now because the only fork I have is a threaded Lucky NW fork. It works just fine, but you're likely to dominate your fork if your a consistent fork breaker. Just take it easy til you can get a new headset.

Find something that will be able to rip the shim out of the bars when it's clamped in there, then just set it up and use it like normal threaded compression. You won't need a starnut. But make sure you have something to get the shim back out with.
