Hic wont dial

Im trying to dial my scooter.
Everytime i tighten my hic in a few minutes i get headshake and it loosens up.
What do i do ?

Loctite. Maybe try greasing the bolt a little first, you can get it tighter that way.

everytime i grease my bolts it always ALWAYS ends up stripping and if i just leave it it doesnt

Blue locktite, it should work.

Chances are, your clamp isn't tight enough. I know it might SEEM like it's tight, but if your HIC is dialed and comes loose, it's only because of your clamp slipping.

Also, NEVER use loctite on your compression bolt. Anyone who tells you to do that has no clue what they're talking about. Unless you like stripping your starnut, that is.

try to hammer the shim down onto the fork with a mallet, unless it goes on easily then you may just need to tighten the hic bolt and clamp more.

scs is an all around better compression though. the phoenix scs looks like it would add less weight than an hic set up, but thats just an assumption.

no, it's because last time he had baby scs his bars cracked, it wasn't really dialed for him and it's a pain in the ass i believe.

because he didnt use it right. and theres a much better chance of your bars cracking in hic than scs. actually im not sure if ive seen bars broken in scs before.

I Don't believe I've seen bar broken on the downtube in an SCS or baby SCS.

SCS is solid as hell. I never have to tighten it, unless im switching out parts. Hic just doesnt hold up in my opinion. The design is simple, but too simple to the point where it comes loose/cracks your bars.

HIC works if you use a long shim. Or just ride flat/tech or flow

^ HIC works great for anything. Mine has literally never come loose.
