Immortal Technique trys to hard to make his music seem important.

betta den trying too hard as necro!!!
you just dont understand his lyrics man!!!

I own all his albums, have listened to them all multiple times through, have been listening to him for two years now, and used to be a huge fan. And saying I dont understand his lyrics is retarded, who doesnt. Its pretty damn simple stuff, except its always about conspiracys and the governments plots, he acts like he knows whats going on and everyone else doesnt. Hes just a rapper.

In short, shut the fuck up.

99% of the people who have posted in here are retarded

also, if you agree with the title of this thread, you again, are retarded

Hip Hop is not dead. When Nas did say it was dead, he was referring to the main stream BS that is pouring out of speakers of radio's everywhere. There are still PLENTY of respectable hip hop artists that survive today. you just have to find them, because good hip hop doesn't really exist on MTV/the radio.

I went to Summer Jamz (big hip hop festival) tonight. It made me so sad that I only knew two of the artist performing pretty much. I felt a knife go into my heart when a guy named "Chino 4 Real" got on stage and performed then said "Hustling makes success. last year I was down where you are, and look at me now, on stage." everyone's like "yaaaaah!" and I was the only one that said "did nobody just hear him?! LAST YEAR he was in the stands! He's some freaking cholo with no lyrical skill AT ALL that got lucky with a beat and laid a crappy verse over it and now he's famous. it was disgusting.

there is so much good rap/hip hop to be found. you just have to search for it these days...
