there is a plastic known as delrin, in many cases as strong as steel, and it can be machined in the same way. This is the plastic composite that is used on the edges of crotch rocket cages that have frame sliders, so that when you dump your motorcycle the idea is that the delrin slides and absorbs the impact instead of your 10k motorcycle. Anyway, I made a set of plastic pegs from this material and had great success, just my two cents. And as a note to Zane, you would not need to find a company that does cnc (computer numerical controlled), but actually just a manual lathe would all that would be needed. CNC'd parts become much more expensive.

trust me its easier to home make metal pegs, and like what airplanes said i ride short sockets. half the length but, i can do almost everything on them.
your going to make me some plastic peggs?
depends if my teacher will let me.....its like 20 bucks worth of plastic...
