take the deck to your local hardware shop and get square tubing that fits snug under the dropouts. cut it to the length of your deck, drill your holes, and be happy.

i don't know about inside reinforcements, but i use 1 inch angle aluminum outside reinforcements.

and i think outside box reinforcements are... like 3/4 inch by 3/4th inch?
