How can I spread the word

I live in Minnesota... Nothing scooter related EVER happens here, im kinda sick of not being able to go to a skate shop and trying out new scooter decks and having to wait for shipping. How can i spread the word, maybe get a comp or two set up (probly not enough riders though).

Tear it up! Do what I do man. Get a pimped ass scooter and just go to places and ride! People ask all sorts of questions... they get interested.. some even try your scooter
just be chill about it haha, scootering is like a disease, it spreads easily.

Get skaters and bikers to convert if you can and get the little kids who start to stick with it. Inspire people. Eventually if there's a scene then idk maybe some guy will write an article on it in the newspaper and it all get's bigger from there.

when i 1st started, noone scootered around me, but when i showed up at the local sk8park with my scooter and did briflips, 720s, and more, people get hooked, they ask 2 use ur scoot.... then they start... and now tons of pplz scooter around me... it's awesoemmme

wat they 3^ said, except wat i do, is just hop on a board or bike and show them i have an itrest in them things too, then their like "oh dang he has fun with that thur scootintooder, then i'll try it too."
