how did you go about getting sponsored?

post here how you got sponsored. i'm gathering ideas about how to go about getting sponsored by this shop so write here how you got sponsored.

I hope alot of you realize it takes other extreme sport athletes atleast up to a good hard working 10 years and stylish riding to get sponsored or even noticed at all...nobody on here has been riding over 6 really..get over it and jsut fucking ride until you actually deserve it..and what I mean by deserve is being as good as the riders you look up to..so just be quiet..if you wanan get sponsored its fine..free stuff is great but quit asking hwo to do it because it obvious you make a video send it in..if you suck then your not sponsored..if your good then probably..simpel as that....sheww im done

it doesn't take 10 years to be "pro" that i know of, most of the newer generation of bmx pros have been riding for like 4-6, sum more and sum people it does take 10 years+, and it probably took even longer back in the day wen nobody new bmx was a sport, skating is different im sure because from wut ive seen most really good skaters have been riding for 10 years because they start wen there like 6 or 7, scooters just need more time and more small competitions, there going to get noticed eventually.........i could be way wrong though.......... i do TOTALLY 100% agree with u though, if your good then stuff is going to happen for u, if not then just ride for fun!

ya most of the very well known riders have, im totaly in agreement with u on that, there r exceptions though, and getting sponsered is only good if u get sponsered by a "big" company, little skate shops wont even give u that much, sum give more than others, but like i said before, if your good things r going to happen for u, and if not then you'll just be a soul rider!

Im gonna take it you mean HeelFlip....?

from gregs we are just asking for free wheels and grip every two months. that would be so sick just that is perfect. i never break scooters so that's all i need and we will wear gregs t shirts all the time and stuff. it'd be sick. someone can lock this thread though if you want.

Be like Ryan Whetstone, go get sponsored by your local chineese food resturant. His place got shut down though, i wanted to go get some free egg rolls when i go up to RI :(

there are very few people here that deserved to be sponsored, and those people are already sponsored or are in the process of being sponsored by micro, so dont worry about it
