Well, i've got a trolleypole and the seatposts at my local bike shop cost $65 so i don't want to buy one.
I found a tutorial on youtube that tells you to use a round file etc etc.

I've been filing for hours and it looks like it's about to fit but i don't want to file anymore, should i keep filing or not? or any tips to make it fit, thanks.

did you take off the plastic on the outside? just checking. and also it might be a trolley bar from the wrong shopping center. I thinks it coles or something that dont work. Try a trolley bar from a different place. Me nad some mates have some from our local supa iga and they fit perfect.

wat your gonna do is need some lube...... i like to mix ketchup and nacho cheese sauce together, works miracles, then your gonna need some zip ties, a paintball gun, and a saudering iron. what your gonna do is zip tie the mix to the pole and continously shoot yourself in the foot with the paintball gun then put the saudering iron in your eye till you scream for bloody murder. and your done should take about 7 minutes all together.

hope this helps everyone

Haha ^^

With the slit just put flat head screwdrivers in there going opposite ways and have somebody push them out while you shove the pole in there.
