This is in a discussion in one of my blogs on myspace:
Kid posted this: god. you have an opinion on everything. i still dont like obama. his oly strategy is hope.. he doesnt stand committed on anything. and you didnt include alot of the times when he has voted on something and then in the future completelly changed his mind.. your a good guy, i just dont like your opinion, and what is obamas stand on religion? he wont say. And im not saying mccain is perfect. I just like him better then obama.
My response: Obama's only strategy is not hope.
The biggest issue this year is the economy, McCain has been quoted as saying he does not know much about the economy and he should take an economy class, he has two of the biggest lobbyists in Washington contributing tons of money to him, and his political adviser was Phil Gramm, the man who caused the downfall on wall street by deregulating everything.
Voted on something and completely changed his mind? Hm, sounds familiar, oh yeah, that's John McCain.
Here's a list of McCain's several flip flops: http://www.thecarpetbaggerreport.com/flipflops
And about religion, what do you mean Obama hasn't taken a firm stance on it? He is a Christian and lets everyone know that frequently. But what pisses me off so bad, is religion has NOTHING to do with politics. Separation of church and state is a principle our country was founded on.
anyways, after a little more discussion, he replies with this:
you say being liberal is a good thing, let me remind you that the worst decision of all time was also the most liberal. remember eve biteing the apple? if she had been a conservative we would all be living in the garden of eden right now. As for john mccains policy taking 100 years to wipeout the deficit, do you think 10,000,000,000,000$ would take any less to make up?
Where do people get this stuff? pointless thread but long nights are boring.
