how do u strech an SCS

put a quarter or nickel where the bolt screws into, like on the inside and just tighten it till it gets looser. sorry if that makes no sense haha its hard to explain

i dont know about quaters but i did it with pennys and it worked just fine. i had the same problem trying to get my scs onto my stricker fork so i just stretched it with the pennys, slid it onto the steerertube with the pennys still in the clamp and then once it was done all the way i took the pennys out and then tightened my compression.

it would be nice if proto could get their tolerances correct so that their own parts are actually compatible with each other though...

if you have to stretch an scs you shouldnt even be trying to do what ur doing its made so that u dont have to stretch it or anything just put the fork in and put the bars in unless u have buff or oversized bars you shouldnt stretch it but i think it messes it up

i had to stretch my scs to get it onto my stricker fork and i am pretty shure they are meant to be compatible together since they are both proto...
