How do you lock an Old A brake?

Searched, went through about 6 pages and didn't find anything. I know something about putting a coin in, so i put two nickels in between the springs and that didn't work for me. If anyone knows a quick and easy way to lock an old a brake, please tell me with a detailed description

You mean so it doesnt move? so far, the only way I've seen it done is to drill a hole in the brake and deck and use a threaded rod. Why do you want to lock it anyway?

Bend your spring alot and bolt your brake.

I do a lot of flatland, and my brake is really wobbly, so even the slightest touch to it makes me stop, so when I try to throw barspins in fakie, the very edge of my heel will barely touch it and it will stop the scooter and throw me backwards

Update: Got it. Drilled a hole, stuck a bolt in and voila, brake is locked

only if you stomp on it. bolting it pretty much turns it into a fender.
