if it didnt actually reinforce it i wouldnt have put it in there and yes it does fit in there completely around it, and the pic was my phone at an angle. i gurantee you its supporting it.,
i think the t-tube is a little to big for it... im not sure i was gonna try but i gotta get another junk one somewhere and see. im hoping it'll work cuz then it'll be a really tight snug fit having more support onto it.
if u didn't read what i said a few replys above... i said "at least i tried" so give me a break... i barely try to do mods on my scooter/parts so it was just an experiment and im gonna try a t-tube and see if its snug... ill post pics on that if it works.
If you cut a groove along the edge of the ridge on the t-tube with a hacksaw it gives it room to flex and get tighter. I did this to reinforce my 08 fork.
