OK here is the deal it will take different people all different amounts of time. No one has the same balance point as you and know one can tell you what your own balance point is. You can only listen to tips they give you. It took me a day but I have great balance. You just need to be able to find your own balance point and believe that you got it. Keep practicing.

a trick i never ever thought i would learn but after a weekend of trying um in my garage then goin to my moms and setting up two leafs and trying to hangy from one to another i kinda got them. as jordan jasa told me no matter what just try them for like ten mins a day and you will learn them. now there super easy. but hop hangys on boxes take a lil longer

i just recently got nosemanuals pretty much dialed, and now i can whip out (flat) i wanna take them to pads an boxes now and curbs, but i would deff say with hangfives, nosemanauls, any balance trick the key is just commitment and pratice, thats it

everyone i kno says to put my foot on the foldy but i cant stand it, i do them fine and i put my foot in the middle of the deck. everyones different, just go mess around with different foot possitions.

How long did it take you to learn hang 5's? I've been trying for days and I don't feel like I'm progressing at all. I can get up to the balance point but I can't hold it so my hang 5s are only like 2 feet. I can do 1 footed manuals, regular manuals, and brakeless manuals but balancing on the the nose is proving to be difficult.

It took me about 3 weeks to a month to get em down so I can go pretty much forever now if its a smooth sufface and no downhill slope, so i dont speed up. But ya just dont be afraid to fall over your bars and keep practicing ALOT then u when you get them down its easier to try 1 handed hang-5's and jumping up curbs to hang-5.

Got 1 handed hang-5's now pretty good too ;)

tips- try leaning forward a ton, and dragging your balance foot on the ground. you go further, and gain confidence.
also, when ever you lose balance, put your foot down and push again

Maybe it's my height, but in order to put my foot down when i lose my balance I have to break a ton at the knee and by then I might as well start over.

Just as i felt I was getting slightly better at hang fives a huge storm has passed so hopefully I don't lose them in the couple of days I won't be able to ride.
