Yeah pretty much, i suggest getting and old headtube/neck with headset still in iut and practice getting it out

Guys, i'd like to confess i have no idea how to put a headset on. I would resort to squeezing the stock cups in vice grips until they bend so i can take them out. Stop ragging on the kid and help him out haha
Yeah I just hammered out the old headsets on an old part and it was all banged up. Don't you use a piece of wood to put on the new ones so they don't go on crooked? Because I'm really thinking of getting an FSA Pig one because mine sucks sooo bad.
EDIT: What's the difference between sealed and unsealed? Which one would be better?

u will need a piece of wood,flat head srew driver,hammer/mullet
1.after u take every thing off so u can put a flathead in there, there should be a little bit of the headset sticking out INSIDE the headtube, put the flat head on the bit of the headsetcup and get the hammer and tap it out, do the same with the top cup
2.get the NEW botom cup fsa,king wateva and u should be able to push it in a tiny bit just so itstays there by its self when u do that get the piece of wood and place it on the headset cup and get the hammer and tap the wood until the headset cup is in place do the same with the top cup aswell
3. if it is a fsa/king headset u will prob need to take ur old fork race off and put the bigger one that comes with the headset and put that on so the bearings fit into the fork race better
