how to put a new race on forks

so i got my old race off my forks but i cant get my new 1 on 4 my threadless headset

some people find a pipe that fits around the fork tube and then use a hammer to get the race on evenly. Or, you can take it to a bike shop and they can do it. Others just hammer it on.

to be honest i just take a flat head screwdriver and hammer it on going around in circles and if you hammer it on all the way its even. probly not the smartest but it works.

thanx i will try it wit a flathead i tried hammering it plain but it didn't work so i'll use the flathead

rubber mallet and a vice
or vice, hammer and block of wood

i usually just tap the race with a hammer all around the tube

its like a ring that holds the headset bearings into the headset cup even sort of lol

put a t tube through the head tube and tap it out from inside with a mallet.
alot of tubes in scootering.
