Hey guys I'm thinking about painting my bars that I just rawed. So what kind of paint do I use? How long does it take? Is it hard? Is it worth it? Etc..... So pretty much just tell me everything about painting bars.

The kind that applies paint on the parts, it doesnt matter what you use, as long as it works on metal.

Basically any paint that adheres to metal. I would do like 2 coats of paint an then a coat of clear.

Ok so just use spray paint and do 2 coats of paint and 1 coat off clear? And does that paint stay on good like as good as the paint that originally came on the bars?

dude, its not that hard to paint something.
primer is nice to have, but you dont really need it. same with clear coat. scooter parts get scratched up easily anyways. just go a hardware store and get like a $5 can.
and your bars will only rust if you get them wet, or if you keep them somewhere with high humidity.

I rawed a set of sliders today. I had to repeat the oven cleaner 4 or 5 times to get the color off. I guess it would help to have patience and let it sit more than 5 minutes. FYI oven cleaner really foams up!

I just spray painted my bars and noticed that they scratch pretty easy? Is there anything I can put over the paint to keep them from scratching?

clear coat.
painting with spray paint is not the same as a professional powder coat just so you know. The paint wont be the same as it would if you were to buy the part painted by the manufacturer.
