How to tighten a threadless headset

It's a really noob question but how do you??

I've only had threaded ones

You need a compression system to tighten a threadless headset.

I know I have SCS^^^^^^^

Then starnut in fork, SCS on fork, compression bolt through top cap in SCS and into starnut in fork, then tighten on bars.

You tighten the compression bolt that goes into the starnut. This pulls the fork against the bottom of the headset and the SCS against the top of it, compressing and tightening the headset.

Nope. They have the built in starnut.

Pretty much. Too tight, though, and the headset will be too tight and hard to spin, you may break your headset, and you could strip the fork and/or the compression bolt.

Put small end SCS on fork, compression bolt through top cap in SCS and into starnut in fork, tighten the compression bolt, then the clamp bolts on bars and fork.
