How To Wax a Curb

Things you will need:

Brick
Ledge/curb
Skateboard Wax
Cloth (optional)

If you dont have have wax you can get it at local skateshops and sometimes at surf shops.

But if you cant find any near you, you can use candle wax or buy some online here: http://www.freestyleshop.com/wax.html

Step 1: Find your spot you want to grind on. Make sure it has no rough edges or sharp bits.
Step 2: If the curb has sharp rough bits grind it off with the brick then continue to smoothen out the curb with the brick. (The smoother the ledge the quicker and easier it is to grind when waxed) Do so for about 10-20 minutes
Step 3: Apply the wax to all edges of the ledge. That means corner, top and side.
Step 4: Test it by scraping your shoe along to see if it slides well.
Step 5: If it slides good get your cloth and slide it along the curb for about 5 minutes to make it smoother.
Step 6: Grind it, and wear the wax in. It will be easier to grind after a few grinds, because it will be nice and smooth.

Finished, go have fun grinding!

Another way:
Step 1: get soap or crayons and run it over the ledge for about 5 minutes. this will fill in any chips and cracks.
Step 2:wait a day and let that sit.
Step 3:get a harder wax(candles, skate wax) and run it over the ledge for about 5 minutes.
Step 4:use a lighter or torch or something and heat up where you waxed. wait a while for it to cool. it should look like this when you are done

its way just to go over the ledge with soap or crayons. then let it sit for a day or 2. then go over with harder wax. then heat it with a lighter to get it nice and black. sooo nice.

ok i put it on the first post. You may wanna edit your post if you dont wanna be accused of double posting lol. But that is your choice

I like this thread. But if you are seshing street, i dont think u will have soap and a blow torth and a day to wait. But its good for a curb in front of your house or something.
