how would i install a head set

im thinking of buying the fsa pig, but i dont really know how to install it could some one help by explaining or drawing a diagram or aiming me at macprky

hmm,i dont know actually but i heard people saying that u bring it to the bike shop u got it from and has to be non integrated headsets.pig fsa should be just right since everyone uses it.

yea your pig will fit anything 1 1/8 will

just use a flat head to knock out your old one it may take a little bit of work and then press your new one in

its really easy. just remove your old ones. i got also fsa pigs and i didnt visit bike shop, dude its easy to install them.. the bigger on down and the little one to up .. its so pointless to go shop, they ask about 12$ :S

take out ur old cups.. and put in ur PIG cups.. FAAARRRK

take the old one out by banging out the old cups i usually do it with and old t-tube and a hammer then get the new ones and either press them in with a park tool (doubt youd have one) or use a mallet and a rag or towel as to not ruin the cups

Hit the new ones in with a piece of wood on top of the cups so as to hit them in even and not to destroy them.

yea use wood thats what i do that way it doesn't dent them. I lie a piece of wood on top and then hammer the wood if you know what i mean

1. pull ur scooters bars,forks and stem off
2. get a flat head screw driver or a heavy long socket extention (works good), place it inside the headtube and tap the cup out with a hammer ( do the same to both cups)
3. put a little grease around the bit of the fsa cup that goes into ur headtube ( to make it easyer to get out if need be) get a piece of wood place ur cup in place and tap it in ( reapeat with the top cup)
4. tap the old fork race off ur old forks and tap ur new fsa one on.
5. grease the cups and bearings up abit, and put ur froks,stem and bars back on.

and thats how it is done...

just take it to a bike shop and have them put it on its well worth it. its only like 20 bucks for me.

20 bucks!!!! thats a lot of money for something you could probably easily do yourself for free
