Im not gonna be one of those people that calls the hurricane a bitch or anything like that, because it still fucked up A LOT of shit for people. I was lucky enough that nothing really happened around my way, no trees down that I know of, I had power, and the neighborhood didnt flood like they expected. It seemed like the heaviest rain hit more south than they originally thought, more around delaware. I know most of the shore points in Jersey got wrecked though.
Gov. Christie told everyone to evacuate the shore the shore points, but then the mator of Atlantic City told everyone that they would be fine and that he was keeping the shelters open on the island. Most of the people that were/are trapped, are stuck there because of the moron mayor. Even in stuff like a hurricane, politics do just as much damage as the actual storm. Pretty fucked up if you ask me.

It just got really windy at my place and its fine today. But I guess its supposed to get up to like 40 - 50 mph winds later today.
