I don't know if this is just me but..

Don't you feel just a wee bit manlier when you break a wheel?
I know it sucks, but something deep inside of me is like

"Yes, Jonathan you broke another wheel...you can break wheels you're so cool"

I dunno, just throwing it out there.

Oh yeah, and I'm pretty much a nobody in this site, but I ride with ScooYork sometimes.
And I think I'm the only one with those pink ODIs.

i don't break wheels, and i only did once because i was riding in under 20 degrees F and the spokes probably just became brittle or something.

breaking wheels sucks. it just pisses me off, cause you're stuck with broken wheels. its even worse if you dont have any extras, cause you go online and you're forced to order em with like 5 min. shipping cause you wanna ride the next day, and you end up paying shipping thats like 4 times as much as the wheel...

basically, breaking wheels sucks ass, and there's nothing good about it. at all.

When i rode my yaks, then i didn't carry any backup wheels in my bag but in just one night when i went a bit more far from my home to an indoor park, i somehow decided to take an extra wheel with me.

And yea, then i broke my front wheel.
Then i was like "i'm so damn lucky that i took that wheel with me".

I don't get satisfaction from braking wheels.
But i do get satisfied when i've got extra wheels to change if something happens.

Now with metalcores, i never carry an extra wheel in my bag - the less it weighs on my back.
