Flatspots are fixable! don't throw away your flatspot wheels!! all you need to do, is carve around in circles ALOT. i had 3 flatspots on my wheel, and i fixed them all.

but that takes too much time and by the time you scrape it all the way you will have hardly any rubber left so you mite as well buy a knew wheel

No, no, no.. not carve with a knife lol. carve as in ride around in circles, really really fast so that you're almost drifting. and do this ALOT. and it only took me about 30 minutes to get rid of 3 flatspots on 1 wheel. Obviously buying a new wheel is the better alternative, this is just a way to hold you over if you can't buy a new wheel right away.
