omg. mo.... it wouldn't do anything to the deck, with the wheel hardness... the wheel doesn't touch the deck, but it might do something to the axel.

You're right. Just like having a loose headset will kill your headset but can help absorb force.
Or having your foldy bolted instead of welded absorbs force.
But like they said, urethane hardness is not going to make a big difference.
