to answer this math question and show your work...

Assuming theres an equal about of male and female mice and all of them bread, how many mice would each couple (male and female mice, stay with the same mate for life) need to have if they wanted to turn 2 mice (only mice) into 7 billion mice in only 60 generations (perfect generations, all mice live breed and die at the same time)? This is assuming every parent couple in every generation has the same amount of offspring. And the mice all last say... 100 years. The 7 billion mice at the end will include the latest generation of mice, their parents, and half of their grandparents.

So how many offspring would each couple need to have?

Edit: No i'm not in school (i graduated) , this is not homework, a question on a test, or anything i get paid for or must do. I'm asking this out of my own curiosity, yes i know i'm weird.

Wouldn't you need to know the starting number of mice? And why is it mice not dogs or people? God damn I'm not even gonna try. Maybe I'll just ask my math teacher tomorrow lol

How many mice do each couple(100 years old each, 2 mice) need to have for 60 generations to get 7 billion mice
