ICS Grit Compression Problem

I need help,
A few days back I was tightening my ICS compression on my Grit Invader and all of a sudden the bolt was infinitely spinning. I found out that it was the star nut in my bars spinning with the bolt so I can't tighten it or loosen it. I have no idea on how to get it out  I've tried pulling the bars upwards, I've tried hammering the forks off but nothing has worked. Does anyone know how I can get it out? I would really appreciate it if someone knew how. I don't have a hack saw and I wouldn't use it anyway because I need my forks and bars.

Get two trucks facing.opposite directions
Tie bars to one truck tie fork to the other. Drive both trucks (at the same damn time) itll come apart and hopefully fly back and dent your truck

found your problem.

Yeah, you are pretty much asking for a problem when you buy an Grit ICS kit. Most of my mates have go through their cheap ICS bolts in a matter of hours.

I really don't know how you would get it off. I think you are going to have accept that something needs chopping, what's your least favourite out of your bars, forks, or deck?

>Bars-cut through the tube, underneath where the starnut is.

>forks-cut the very bottom of the tube and legs off, that will allow the bars to slide off.

>deck-cut through the headtube, like with the bars.

Or, of course, you could try cutting the head off of the ICS Bolt, then it will slide through the forks, it depends how tight your compression was when your starnut gave in.

Anyway, you're gonna have to cut something.

EDIT: Just saw that you don't have a saw. In that case, sit back, relax, and take in that feeling of fuckedness.
