Okej...

Let's say I organized an even called "God of Vert" ... would anyone actually fly out to Croatia for such an event? My local park got rebuilt and is actually quite nice right now + the vert ramp got resurfaced (now covered in IOU Ramps famous "skatesmart" material).

I saw Stan is gathering a vert brigade around himself (which is nice, but I still have to see that live up), Dan Holm obviously shreds like a mad man, I've seen some pics of BenJ basically launching himself to the moon out of a vert ramp, Hep Greg loves vert riding if my memory serves me well...

All in all, there are potential candidates, but I yet have to see a vert competition. So why not get one organised then

Most of the good guys are riding for companies who I assume would be more than happy sending out their rider to claim the title "God of Vert" hahaha... first of it's kind, but I think it's finally time vert riding gets some love.

What do you think about it?

Riders, team managers etc. everyone get in here... let's hear your thoughts about this.

Honestly, there are only a small handful of people that can actually ride a vert ramp. This could happen but not in Croatia.. Most companies won't fly their riders internationally, and to be worth the trip there would need to be lots of major sponsors and a large purse for the competition. I could see one sometime this or next year happening within the U.S.

This would be sick, but nobody's gonna fly out to Croatia because one rider lives there, opposed to the dozens in america

This would be a sickkk event to watch. If Martin Nogol still rides, get him to to it. That dude used to destroy vert ramps.

There is more than just me in Europe who could destroy it and leave you americans away from the podium

But yeah, if I'll organise anything like it, it'll be here and nowhere else, since it's pretty hard already to organise an event in your own city while having a part time job and being a full time college student. Organising it in another city/country... impossible.

And let's not forget about all the huge summer competitions in Europe... Montreux, Linz... everyone's around here at the time anyway, going from Linz to Zagreb is 3-4 hours bus ride.

Anyway, I still wanna hear some info from vert riders that would be down for this, their team managers etc.
