Ideas for whole new front end?

Jesus Christ. Don't drive 100 miles to a shop if you dont even know what to get. What if nobody were to respond to this thread? Would you just panic and not buy anything?

From reading this, I can tell that you are not ready for a nice scooter if you don't even have a basic knowledge of the parts in this industry. I hope the shop is closed when you get there.

Sorry for not appropriately contributing to the thread.

Considering TSI is pretty much on the edge of Business existence and you represent Vertx as a Flow rider I don't understand your hostility to a new rider.

His money can be spent on quality parts that you as an experienced rider could
suggest to him or he can go and spend his money on Chinese import crap and folks like TSI can sell 199 scooters next year rather than the 200 they only sold last year.

I'm going to drive 100+ miles to a scooter shop and I'd like to know good Ideas on what to get.

Front end=Bars,Forks,headset (Not Integrated) Compression.

well to be completely honest with you, you should go on www.freestyledepot.com and get TSI Heptron Bars($79.95), A TILT Legacy Fork($99.95), A PROTO SCS($64.95), and a FSA - Orbit UF 1-1/8"($39.95) which comes out to $284.80 and with shipping itll come out to about $300 dollors flat. the only reason i think you should go with freestyledepot is because they have a more wide spread selection of parts and the parts they carry are in my opinion alot better, tilt, tsi, and proto all make great quality parts that are amazing and by buying them you can feel good about supporting great companys.

The people at mothership are really nice and should help you choose depending on your skill level, weight, size, etc.

Hep, i did help him and to start off with spending 300 dollars isnt always a good idea, just wait till the parts brak that you use unless they are really uncomfortable, if you want light parts alu forks are good like tilt or vertx fron wheel could be vertx aswell as i have only heard good things about the v2 wheels except from one guy who didnt like it out of 100, it was probably a defect, or you could go for sz wheels. headset cane creek and raceface are good and bearings, any smooth nice ones will do

It was just an example of how tough the Scooter market is- I don't feel as though we need to make it even harder for buyers to find quality products by bashing them for such a simple question.

I'm also pretty amped up after the LA Street jam- it was sweet- and I don't even ride. It was just a good thing to see the Event happen and to see all of the riders. I'm used to some pretty basic park riding and watching the shit thrown down on the street spots in my "backyard" was amazing.
