i dont see how cutting of like a quarter inch of the top so you can use them with SCS would affect the strength at all
short solid scs clamp vs long thin steel bars, it leverages much differently. i ran scs for a short time, with sword forks. i was given a tilt one before they were in aus and it was fine with me after 5 months then gave them to someone, they are still using them over a year later. i know another kid who shreds(7 bar a spine), weighs 40kg and broke them with an scs in 6 months

Well no you aren't supposed to use them with SCS. Only ICS which is horseshit...

get almasty bars with welded starnut and you would say otherwise. i changed 2 mates to them and i run it myself, none of us have had a lose headset in atleast 4 weeks and 1 of them and i ride everyday, even if 1/2 an hour. if you say its too hard, you clearly havent had an scs fuck up on you. i worked at a shop for a year, i could fix any ics first shot but some scs can keep you there for hours. stupid little things like tolerance (thickness) of the forks or bars vs the clamp can make it never stop wobbling as if it were loose.

I would have done that but they didn't send Matt Greg and Logan any long ICS allen keys haha.

ICS has always been a pain in the arse. Specially when you get that starnut crooked in your bars and have to drill that mother out. Bring back the dank. Oversized bars are way better, not sure why HIC isn't so popular.

I've only ever snapped one set of bars at the slits. If you ride clean they are nothing to worry about.
