If you use Mozilla Firefox, you must read this

Here is a way to alter the speed or about everything it does. It will open windows faster and load things fsater.

First, type "about:config" into the address bar.

go down to "network.http.pipelining" and double click it to make it true

then go to "network.http.proxy,pipelining" and, again, double click it to make it true

then, go to "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" and double click it. a window will pop up, and enter the number 30

then, right click in the white of that screen and go to new - integer. type in:

"nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and then hit OK.

then a window will popup asking you to enter a number, type "0". hit ok and close out of that window/tab and enjoy your accelerated browsing.

Yeah you can do that, and if your afraid to mess with shit, im pretty sure i saw patches that do it for you, search around on google for one.

my little shitz in the corner says "connected to startbridge signal strength excellent speed 11 mbps"

i have noticed a speed difference just very slight one

Yeah, not everyone is going to get a huge change. What it does, is instead of just sending one request to the page for data, it sends however many the number you put in is so you send like 50 request and you get the data sent back to you faster.
 
i JUST saw this.damn josh how do u figure this stuff out? shit,lol.ya it helped me but my mom was like "i don't think your father will like that u wer emesing aorund witht hhe configuration"lol.thanks though it helped.

well now that this thread is back ot having new posts, i have a question. Does your home icon on firefox have a blue dot in the middle of it? Right above the door? lol mine does.
