the grip-tek account on sr looks legit and idk why youre doubting them when they are threatening to take legal action

the only reason i wouldnt believe them is because the email is a yahoo email. why would a company who has their own site use an email from a different domain

It is not as odd as you think. The reason Grip-Tek Legal Department is using an outside e-mail account is to avoid a potential influx of spam which could result from posting on a public forum.

If you still doubt the validity of these posts and you received a fraudulent sample, please post your name and we will be happy to make an example out of you.
