titanium is sronger than chromoly, if you use the same wait, ar even a litle less, and it way, way, way lighter. it does cost alot. but its worth it. and welds hardely effect any strength, if welded corectly.

Sure it has more tensile strength, but it's much more brittle. It won't bend easily, it will just snap instantly. Keaton, this has been discussed multiple times on were, and the negatives always outweighed the positives. It's a great idea, just not very practical.

we use chromemoly because it is strong and cheap if titanium was the same price we would use it its lighter and stronger and u can bend titanium it dosent just brake its just expensive and chromemolys not the best for what we use its the best for companys who want to make money and for ridders who dont want to spend 250 for a pair of bars but is very strong and light so if u can find some ti make some bars they will be very light and strong you wont regret it and will have some nice bars for a very ling time

Your wwrong, the posotives out way the negitives , price is the only negative thing, weight, strength are positives.

yeah
for the same weight ti will be stronger then chromo
you'll just have to test some different diameters and find a good compromise between weight and safety
if you can get a reasonable price i'd be down to try

Ti doesnt bend, it snaps.

actually your wrong here zanee
titanium is supper strong when its mixxed with magnesium and other rare metals but titanium alone is actually reallly mallueable (its bends and flexs) thats why chromo bars bend then snap if you made titanium bars they wouldnt snap but they would bend in a heart beat after ooooh i say 1 bri??

Ti doesnt bend, it snaps.
THERE IS A FUCKING REASON WE USE CHROME MOLY IN OUR TYPES OF SPORTS, ITS BECAUSE ITS WHATS BEST FOR WHAT WE DO.
Sure, Ti is strong and light, but the science has been done, the testing and discussing and designing and fucking everything.
Ti is just not what we use. Shut your little noob mouths.
Keatonspence is right it's only because the price that we use chromaly. Chromaly is the best considering the price and performance, BUT if you have the money it wouldn't hurt to make some for titanium parts with less weight as well... and fun fact: The price of titanium costs waaaaay more because it is very hard to reach it's melting point and then force through a dye, not because it's rare.
