I hate how "indie" is such a big genre now. Indie stands for independent. Indies bands used to be bands that self-released their albums and merchandise because they were INDEPENDENT. Most of these bands that people call indie are on big labels.

But dont get me wrong, Im big into this stuff too.
How about young the giant, arcade fire, and a silent film?
