Has anyone ever had an issue with their iPhone sending texts hours late, or not receiving them until later? It's hard to believe that it's a service issue. Mine just started doing this about a week ago, and it hasn't really stopped. Should I trash this thing or is there an explanation?

It happens to me somewhat often, but nothing consistent. Verizon sucks, there's your problem. I have to start paying for my own phone in October, switching over to something else as soon as I get the chance.

I sometimes get the same text twice, but ats the only prob I have with my 4s

Happens to me daily, once I started to text more it became a problem. My phone also doesn't vibrate when in rest or whatever the screen off but running mode is called. One friend on AT&T has the same issue. I think apple just fucked us with their $7 machinery.

My verizon phone does it sometimes too. mine stopped after a couple of days

For anyone else who has this problem: the guy at Verizon did a software reset on my phone and I haven't had a problem with it since.
