Is my headset screwed

So i wanted my headset bearings smoother and my dad said here ill put some thin oil in it. I said sure why not but after he put it in there you can here all the dirt crunching when i turn my bars will it go away when i ride some more or will it just stay like that?

clean it and inside the headtube, then put some oil on it, then put it on. should be super smooth

Clean it in petrol, then get some high quality grease and put it all in an it will be like butter.

clean your bearings thoroughly and clean the headset cups as well

this happened to my sealed headset hahah. It doesnt do anything noticeable.
