is there a right way to stand ??

ok new to scooting so dont bash me too bad, i have watched alot of videos and i see a bunch of different foot placements, is there a right or wrong way. also i used to bike and rode right foot forward so im used to spinning into my left side but i skate reg so thats how i scoot and this make spinning rediculously hard . again any help would be much apreciated

No, either keep your feet to the left (Goofy) or to your right (Regular). Just don't ride "Ski". Just pick which one feels most comfortable or natural.

Ive seen people ride feet parralel with the deck but staggered i thoufht it would help but it doesnt , i ride luke regular on a board left foot forward

if you feel most comfortable spinning to your left, ride goofy and then just learn to spin the other way so you can have a frontside and a backside

Mongo doesn't look quite as bad on scooters

Im not arguing Rob, just clearing something up. Mongo is performed on scooters as well as on skateboards. ski is just a foot placement that will really make you pay in the long run because as you get better there is no fs or bs, it become regular and oppo. and as some already know if scootering is going to be a legit thing it needs an exact classification for a trick. The system used today is fs and bs. So overall, riding ski should be avoided at all costs unless you've been riding that way forever and you can never change it.

also with that you cant do heelwhips and tailwhips so it would be known as oppo and normal
