Hey, I ride goofy but kick with my right (front) foot. And I manual with my front foot on and my back foot off. It's kindof annoying and tough to do combos and things but that's how I started and that's how I'll stay.

Typically people don't mix up stances from boardsport to another. But it is normal that you push with your back foot. I hate when people push with their front food, it's called mongo. It looks super ugly.

I personally think its the HANDLEBARS that make you want to ride goofy because it feels better and you can stay balanced easier. The things without handlebars, you just automatically want to stand whatever way feels better balanced, as you have nothing else to balance yourself with. Not that weird.

Yeah I used to bike and scoot goofy but skate and snowboard regular. Fixed skating, but who knows if ill be able to go goofy on a snowboard So i know what you are talking about

Doesn't really matter, Mongo is way uncomfortable and I don't know how you can do it. I push with my right foot in regular, and my left in goofy. Try regular stance, so much more comfortable and it doesn't require this big turn of your body to push like mongo does.

no. i ride goofy and mongo. that means i ride with my right foot in front, and push with my right foot while keeping my back (left) foot on the deck. i dont think ski, pushing mongo, or indian givers look bad. maybe its style related.
