Im sorry, but the sport is not as small as you think. From first growing in 2009 the sport has been grown at a massive rate. ISA wants to make these comps more official and get an actual ranking system for riders that want to be recognized for the sport they love. When only doing one comp, you need to think of many things including insurance, ambulance and sponsors. Yes, it may be easy for one or two comps. Try making around 30 events (or how many they do, which is alot) in the one year with a proper ranking system and everything i discussed above. Even if you don't believe in the sport being one big comp and should only be chilling with your friends and having fun, then i completely understand. But if you want this to become an official sport recognized by the world, we need to be organised and do what other successful sports like skating did which is do what where doing with the ISA. Also, some people would love to see scooting in the X games with comps and judges, whois going to be organised to do that??? How can we do that without ranking systems and other things that the ISA do???
