I've been thinking about wide bars

I got myself banned.
Well this kid across the street from me in 6th grade, he's short and i'm getting him into scootering. he's asking for a promodel and all that shit for his birthday, and we were talking about what he needs for it and stuff. i was like dudeeeee i'll give you 18 wide bolted. and he was like no way.

but after i said that i thought like, wow like most of the kids that i know of that are really short ride wideee bars. Little steve, that dakota kid who rides with bike bars, and some other kids i really can't think of. Yeah i know like bigger kids ride wide bars too, but it just seems like smaller kids ride wider bars

so yeah i don't really know where this is going,

can other people say what they think.
for some random reason to me it seems like wider bars would help smaller kids i have no clue why though.

i dont care how old ppl ar who ride bars...i just dont like ppl who cant even tail having 20 wide..there is this kid at my local skate park..he can barly double tail whip..and he has 24 copper wide bars..i tell him he is such a poser..but w/e..

this isnt really a trend dude... its just wat people think are comfortable... personally... i like to do tricks with barspins so i wont ride over 15 but its all about comfort for most people not to fit in with all the other short kids that ride wide bars

Thats funny coz like everyone at my local has 20 wide. . its really funny coz they are like all short nd ride like 17 high nd 20 wide

i ride 19s well they are the best and yes i can still do all my tricks and it looks better adds more style to your riding but i still respect all the people who ride small bars and that does not mean you dont have style <3 :]

smaller kids usually mean younger kids, and they're probably more likely to want in on a trend, so they get 20 wides.

and i'd like to see anybody do a fakie scooter fakie barspin with wide bars.

i have a extra scooter that i made some 18 wides for and when ride it i get addicted the control is amazing and then i get back on my everyday good scooter and my 14.5 wides feel like little retard stubbs but i get used to it just a weird change

The other week all these little poser kids who couldn't drop in a 6ft quarter rocked up to penrith with 25"s..
I was like wtf? ..
Barspinned em 3rd go tho.

i have 15, i might get 14 or 16 i duno, 16 = better tuck no handers
14 = better bar combo's, too hard i think to decide.

im sticking with 15s, you get the best of both ends.

little kids should at least learn on stock, then move on to a little bit wider bars if necessary, from what ive seen it kills your learning curve and style with those wide ass bars when you just start.
