i was using 200 or 400 iso on them. because i didnt have a tripod, and i couldn't keep steady because it was freeezing.

Chandler main point being is you got to learn the features of your camera aswell as lighting and other angles. Not hard, and if you cant quite understand like i was, just look it up or go to photography.com and read some tips and things to help you get better.
