I saw it yesterday. wasnt the best bond ever. there were definitely some really good parts. but i thought the chick might blow more stuff up.

The new one was really well made but it was not really a Bond film so in the sense of the series it sucked and they raped 007 just like Lucas and Speilberg raped Indiana Jones. There were no cool gadgets and no cool vehicles... how can it be James Bond then?

Well..... *pushes up glasses* ..... After reading all of the books i have a completely different outlook on James Bond. He isn't making jokes all the time. He is alot more serious, and human.
Q, or Magor Boothroyd was actually only mentioned once out of 14 books, and that was in From Russia With Love when he got the attache case with all of the fancy stuff in it. After that he never had any gadgets or anything, and never had any cool cars really...
The producers for EON productions (who make the Bond films) Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson, just like everyone else in the world, are going for the "lets follow the books more closely" road... so thats why the new movies are all action and no fun.
Personally i think they should make a balance point between the James Bond from the books and the James Bond from the movies...

I didn't like the new one. I wanted it to end in the middle of it.
I don't really know why, just wasn't enjoyable.
