just so you know what pro skaters think of you.

it kinda sucks but you shouldnt be affected by this, it really just focuses on little kids

Don't care so much what they have to say but seeing the kid launch his deck at one of the Scooter kids really pisses me off.

Had a run in with a kid- actually an adult since he is 18- at our Local that was pulling that crap.

He then tried to rationalize his actions by pointing out the "Skateboarding can be hazardous, skate at your own risk" sign.

Yup, when my kid cracks his face on the rail or breaks an arm I won't sue the city but if he catches a board in the face because someone intentionally launches it at him... then we are going to have a serious problem.

I pretty much stay out of the park and let my Son deal with what ever happens inside- name calling or what ever but there's only so much a 7 yr old can do against 16,17 18 yr olds.

ugghh that just pisses me off.

one solution. don't ride skateparks. i know the skaters around here don't care as long as you have a little etiquette. but just make friends with them and you'll be okay. but as someone posted above, this is directed at little kids. they NEED to stay out of the skatepark for their safety. if they're legit about learning to ride a scooter, they should learn some tricks at home and then go to their local.
