no because most people are threadless anyway so they dont have a locknut.

well if it was made in the shape of the locknut, when you tighten it it probably will never move. its still pointless because threaded is still weaker.

Nahh I think it's a pretty good idea but still kinda pointless. But I mean I have a threadless headset and inward forks which is almost as good as threadless since those forks are STRONG

Also it wouldnt have any clamping power because there is no slit on a locknut.

Seems pointless and unnecessary

you guys just don't get that this clamp would have no clamping power, seeing how it has to clamp onto an object that flexes to hold on tight, as well as an object that doesn't. You can't cut a slit in the locknut, and trying to tighten this clamp down would just strip it seeing how you'd never get it tight.
