All of what you posted sounds like emo (well, the names do, and I what I consider emo is all rock genres which are widely popular in the US and unheard in Poland). To me the term 'hardcore' is about pushing the tempo, shouting and hitting guitar strings and drums hard.
Please listen to some of the bands he posted, theyre hardcore. I listen to a handful of them. They are not 'widely popular' in the US, most people find out about them by going to shows, searching on myspace and purevolume or by word of mouth. Widely popular bands in the US fanbases consist of radio listeners and a bunch of 14 year old girls.
I love the number 12 looks like you, horse the band, fear beore the march of flames, drop dead gorgeous, sky eats airplane, from a second story window, through the eyes of the dead, old underoath stuff, august burns red, one dead three wounded and a bunch of other bands.
I cant really stand stuff like hatebreed, slipknot and shit like that.
