Learn how to work on your scooter

This always makes me really sad. Kids are saying "wow these scooters are really complicated" and kids who have no idea how to work on their scooter. It's not a hard thing to do! I learned everything first hand by taking everything apart and putting it back together, and these kids can't do it with everyone and their uncle telling them how to do it and pictures galore. And when the SR fork came out, people totally freaked. How is this working? I don't get it? Even all this time later people are confused about it. It's a scooter, it's not that complicated! I think one of the things you need to learn when riding a scooter is how to make your scooter ridable, so that you know what's going on and you can figure out what the clicking sound is or what's loose. Maybe once all the riders learn how to do this we'll be able to watch some videos with nice, quiet scooters, without metal bouncing around every which way. Well there's my rant, I guess the point is this: Learn how to work on your scooter!

same here i dont know why ppl think its hard when the only major parts are like forks, wheels, t-tube and deck you only like need 3 tools at the most

When i got my pro-mod, the first thing i did was take it ALL apart, and clean, grease everything haha, so i learnt quick, people just need to get balls and do it there selves

ive done absolutely everything with modding my scooter. Full deck reinforcements, putting in my headset, bolted my t tube before i had rads, done a bunch of shittt. All that stuff is reasonably easy. With that said, FUCK ME if i could put a starnut in (correctly). I have even watched someone else do it, it wont work if i try it. I will mess it up haha.

Solid, strong and quiet scooters = perfect.
I just hate how some scooters make so much noise.

I just completly stripped down my scooter. Right when i got my pro i took the fork off, and played with the headset because the it was to tight. I just experimented with diff stuff. scooters are not hard at all to figure out lol

my scooter usually make a little bit of noise becuase of cracked wheels and stuff, but other than that i keep everything reasonably solid..having rads and sr forks helps a TON, instead of screwing on the steer tube for 20 minutes i just loosen the clamp, push down on the bars, tighten the clamp, and im all set

My scoots all modded, I just can't take a pro model apart, and put it back together and have it fold again, well, I never tried.
