Lightest setup I have ever had:

Deck: new A
Bars: stock
grips: none
wheels: stock, preferably worn down to <90mm with many flat spots
clamp: stock
Headset: stock
brake: brakeless

That is literally THE lightest setup, and all the little kids at my local ride this same setup so I mean it has to be good.

with a baby it could. hic is heavier since the bars have more material

The bars don't have more material, they just have a bigger outside diameter. For some reason, nobody understands this. The weight differences between HIC and regular bars is minimal, if anything at all.

they have the same wall thickness as regular bars, but are bigger, therefore they have more material. i agree though, that the weight difference isn't very much.
