Lock-nut Wont fit forks

Hey im using Blunt sob threaded forks(http://www.scooterhut.com.au/images/Blunt SOB Threaded Blue.jpg) and have a Derailed Headset Threaded (http://thelocalbikeshop.com.au/files/f8991f3366fd4063b5db219d29451951-1024x1024.jpg) its just the forks and headset nut wont screw together so any idea's on how to make this work?

Well it's like the headset nut and the forks are a different thread and I don't want to force the nut on as it may stuff the entire fork up :S

you dont really need the top nut if your headset is threaded
