nope, the threads are perfect, bolts arnt striped, and best of all your bars and forks actually slide in nicely with out having to stretch the clamp

sure for $10 more ill powdercoat the RUP any color you want but idk about cutting a hole in the headtube. Ive never done that before and don't have the right tools so I don't want to mess uyp
