Longest Lasting Wheels

So I've heard of different wheel hardnesses like 86A and 88A but I don't really know the difference cuz Im kinda new. Do soft or hard wheels wear down slower and what do numbers like 86A have to do with it?

D= its sam!!

the numbers tell you how hard they are, the higher the number, the harder the wheel. and softer wheels waer down faster.

It really depends on the quality of the urethane. Companies like Yak have high rebound wheels, but they still wear down pretty fast. Razor and Hyper wheels have a medium wear rate, even though Hyper GreenMachines have one of the highest rebounds on the market. Wheels by Proto and Eagle are slow wearing and have an average-high urethane grade.

You know you could put a durometer on a plank of wood and it might come up as 88a.
and it still will be sh!t
It only tells you the hardness and has nothing to do with how well/long it will last
