Looking for someone to design my logo

Did you edit that brush and font. Because if your gonna use it for your business, you either have to buy rights to them, or edit them each in 3 ways. Ask Donald for more information on legal stuff.

not to be a dick but this is somewhat infuriating to hear you call yourself a designer, when what you did was over saturate a picture where you distort it with noise.
and search angel wings and steal the first image you saw off google.

as for the font, it doesnt have clean lines, and the letters are not close enough together to act as a single free floating object but instead is 15 separate ones.
STROKES ARE USUALLY AVOIDED IN GD. it distorts font.

i wouldnt want to pay for stolen work in bad resolution.

Ha ha thanks for the critisiscm... this is how i do work. I get a simple idea of what the person wants. Then i show them what all their ideas look like together hence the shittty logo that you are criticizing. So that was not at all a final draft. I am in the process of creating one all from scratch ( self created sky, font, wing idea, etc) this was just so i could get a rough idea of how he wanted it to look. yes my final will be in a 300dpi format and will be all my own work. sorry for not stating that in my post. and thanks for the critisism

its funny you say vectorize i had a teacher who flipped out on some kids for making up these ridiculous vector terms.

and yeah i take pictures and i traced their silhouettes and add elements of the animal to make it less flat.
free handing anything just isnt logical, its easier to get the essence of something through pictures or studing the real thing then just winging it.

im not some crazy talented life drawing artist, and i never want to be.

Sort of stole Margarets idea with the birds.

Used my own picture as background, traced the bird from one of my photos. And the font is free to use.

i dont really care about winning or anything, its just the small amount of kids on sr that think graphic design is interesting dont understand a standard of decency.

id rather see other kids try new things on their own, where theres new and interesting visual then have people be brush whores, or fail at designing on their own.

you kids with the interest, keep trying. if you want legitimate tips you can ask me, but you need an example of what your trying to accomplish.

and drawing HELPS... if you cant draw learn. drawing is a learned thing, it takes some people longer to understand concepts and some people are born knowing it.
listen to me EVERYONE HAS THE ABILITY TO DRAW, when you start learning to see. get tracing paper, and trace over real things... and try to understand the forms, draw skeletons, copy the style of srtist that interest you BUT DONT PASS IT OFF AS YOURS.
